NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

Nashua Airport and is situated within a mixed residential and commercial area. In an effort to reduce the impact of aircraft noise on the environment in this area, Nashua Airport has certain procedures for aircraft operating in and around the airport. By following these guidelines as well as exercising care when operating during off hours, we can assure the quality of the surrounding areas and work together in keeping the Nashua Airport and the surrounding community in harmony.

Runups for normal takeoffs are not restricted.

High power runups for maintenance purposes, which would cause excessive run up times will:

a. Be restricted to the Runway 14 holding apron;
b. These runups are restricted to between 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM

All aircraft departing on Runway 14 will climb at runway heading to at least 1000 feet MSL if able and turn on course over the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
All aircraft departing Runway 32 will climb at runway heading to 1000 feet MSL before turning on course.

The traffic pattern altitude at Nashua Airport shall be 1200 feet MSL for light aircraft.

All turboprop, turbo jet and heavy aircraft shall operate in a pattern altitude of 1700 MSL.

The calm wind runway at Nashua Airport will be Runway 32.
